This summer backpacking trip is consistently one of the most popular events of the whole year. First, you will journey to beautiful southwest Virginia, where you will spend 2 days at the Wilderness Trail Base Camp. Then, you hit the trail for 5 days with your hiking group, spending most of your time on the Appalachian Trail in the middle of the great outdoors! Ask anyone who has been before, this tends to be one of the most memorable trips of their entire time in the DUMC youth group.
No hiking/backpacking experience? No worries! This is a great trip for first-timers!
Cost is $285 per youth
