Sr High Mission Trip 2010

Let me say upfront that this will be a trip you’ll never forget.

This summer, for our High School Mission Trip, we will be journeying to rural Kentucky to participate in the Appalachia Service Project.  ASP has a reputation for being an absolutely amazing experience.

The trip involves doing home repairs and interacting with people in the Appalachia area, one of the most impoverished regions in the entire country.  The level of poverty here is comparable to some third-world countries.  We will spend the days working and the evenings relaxing and hanging out with each other, all while experiencing a little of the Appalachian culture.  Not only that, but, on the way home, we will be making a stop at Dollywood, a fantastic amusement park in the mountains of eastern Tennessee.

Below, you can find a brief video about ASP, along with a link to their website.  You may also register below, but remember that your spot is not reserved until you turn in your deposit to the church.  Again, this trip is going to be amazing and you do not want to miss it!

Cost: $410 per youth

Cost includes ASP program, work project costs, post-trip waterpark and amusement park outing, all meals except travel meals, t-shirt, lodging and transportation.
